Global Bridges
Building relationships between Spain’s food, Wine producers and Clients around the world.
Castilla y León
The autonomous community of Castilla y Leon, located in northwestern Spain with its capital in Valladolid, is home to more than 2.5 million people and contains more than half of the country’s heritage sites. It is also one of Spain’s richest wine regions, encompassing the D.O. Bierzo, Rueda, Ribera del Duero and Toro areas.
We were responsible for the marketing and organization of two press and trade events to coincide with the holiday season, bringing together more than 200 professionals at guided tasting events held in exclusive restaurants in Orlando, Florida and New York City, including presentations, seminars, and even the catering.
Design: We created a portfolio of campaign marketing materials to promote the government of Castilla y León’s events in both Florida and New York City.
Events & Mangement: We organized events for more than 200 people, at Lakeside Restaurant (Orlando, Florida) and James Beard House (New York City), with catering by Sixto Alonso from the International Culinary Center. The events included seminar presentations by Pancho Campo, Spain’s only Master of Wine.Numerous rising-star winemakers from the Castilla y León region were present, including: Jean Francois Hebrard (Toro), Cesar Muñoz (Ribera del Duero), Gregory Pérez (Tierra de León), Raul Pérez (Bierzo), and Richard Sanz (Rueda).
