The Guía Peñín is Spain’s best known and most comprehensive wine guide. Compiled by Jose Peñín, a professional wine journalist for more than 25 years, the Peñín Guide to Spanish Wine features scores and tasting notes for more than 8,000 Spanish wines and is available in Spanish and English.
Drawing on our Spanish wine expertise and relationships, we were asked to bring together hundreds of trade partners for a series of seminars and tastings to promote the launch of the Guía Peñín in English. We provided communications, handled logistics, and coordinated the participation of other well-known personalities.
Trade & Events: We brought together 300 trade attendees at events in New York City, including the English-version launch of the Guia Peñín in the US market. We served as interpreter for José Peñín at the Guía Peñín events in the USA, including “The Spanish Wine Transformation – Challenges & Opportunities in the U.S. Market” seminar, with winemaker Alvaro Palacios, sommelier Roger Kugler, and GM of Suba/Boqueria in New York City and National Sales Director for the prestigious importer and distributor Winebow, Carlos Hubner-Arteta.
